National Championship News

With the BCS National Championship game tonight, there's some things we have to take care of before we take the field.

Chicago dance-punk band The Audition have posted a video teaser for their upcoming album, Great Danger.

Vampire Weekend recently performed their song "Cousins" on the Tonight Show with David Letterman. You can check out video of that performance right here.

RHCP bassist Flea has started making affordable quality bass guitars, according to recent reports.

Joining Taylor Swift, Beyonce, Lady Antebellum, and The Black Eyed Peas performing at the Grammys will be Green Day, Dave Matthews Band, and Lady Gaga. A full report from the Grammys on all confirmed performers can be found here.

To close out the sales of 2009, Taylor Swift sold the most units for her album Fearless which was released in 2008. Check out the confirmation right neah!

The Bamboozle festival have announced a few more bands playing at both east and west coast dates. Check out a full list of bands here.

The much anticipated American Carnage Tour involving Megadeth, Slayer, and Testament has been postponed until the summer. Reason being Slayer bassist/vocalist Tom Araya will be undergoing back surgery. Full statement can be found here.

Metal act Suicide Silence will be playing at the NAMM convention the day before they play at the benefit show for Deftones bassist Chi Cheng. Supporters can be found at this location.

Metal royalty Rammstein have confirmed Combrichrist as the supporting act for their upcoming tour. Dates can be found at the site given, none of them are United States friendly, though.
