Go Big Red News

The Husker game is going to be on in two hours, so I'm going to do this, then get with it. So here's your daily news.

Cobra Starship is going to be releasing a remix album entitled I'm A Hot Mess, Help Me on January 12th to a digital release. If you're into that kind of thing.

You can see the album artwork and pre-order the new Alkaline Trio album entitled This Addiction, right here. Don't be afraid of getting it you collectors, there's going to be a DVD and a bonus 4 tracks on that DVD for a special edition.

According to a tweet by Manchester Orchestra, rapper P.O.S. did a cover of their song "Shake It Out". Right now the file can't be found, so we'll let you know as soon as we can find somewhere to listen to it.

Canada's own Silverstein are going to be throwing a party for their 10th anniversary together. They will be playing a four night stand all over Canada playing old songs, rarities, and some requests.

Following up with more coverage on The Rev's unexpected passing, Yahoo! has reported that the autopsy has come up inconclusive.

Hard rock act Pearl Jam is seeing some turmoil right now. Eddie Vedder is being sued over lyrics he used on the track "Hard Sun" which appears on the Into The Wild soundtrack. The original act that played that song claimed that Vedder changed some of the lyrics which "eroded the integrity of the original composition".

Attention: I just want to say that I sincerely apologize to every metal fan because I have noticed a lack of metal news here. I try to report the variety of music that is popular and relevant. So for now on, expect more metal news. Oh, and finally, GO BIG RED!
