Here's What You've Missed

Sorry for the lack of updates. Because of finals week and illness, I haven't been able to update. I'll keep you notified further.

It seems that the rumors are true and John Frusciante has officially left the Red Hot Chili Peppers. The band have confirmed this and have gone further saying that there is "no drama".

Your Rock And Roll Hall of Fame class of 2010 has been announced. This year's inductees will include: ABBA, Genesis, The Stooges, and others.

It has now been announced that Flight Of The Conchords are no longer.

Just as previously speculated, indie-grunge godfathers Sonic Youth are now recording their new record.

Surely for a sold out tour, Muse have just released more tour dates for their tour with Silversun Pickups.

The punk gods are crying. Matt Skiba has been said to open for All-American Rejects on both of AAR's Los Angelas tour dates.

Relient K were forced to cancel a few shows when frontman Matt Thiessen left the band to join his mother who suffered a heart attack.

Lil Wayne will drop his next album Rebirth and then spend a year in prison on gun charges. Say "hi" to T.I. and Plaxico please.

A huge congratulations goes out to Anberlin. The band's single "Feel Good Drag" was just confirmed by Billboard to be the #44 most played alternative song of 2009.

In news of mammoth proportions, Deftones have confirmed April 27th as the release date for their next album. I know I'm excited.

Manchester Orchestra have made a small announcement that they are going to head to the studio in June to record their follow-up to Mean Everything To Nothing.
